A week after “DNA” did the same feat, “Fake Love” also went silver in the UK.
On July 16, local time, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that “Fake Love”, the title track from the album “Love Yourself: Tear”, had won silver.
According to the standards of the British Phonographic Industry, singles with 200,000 units sold and albums with 60,000 units sold are certified silver.
After “Boy With Luv”, “Dynamite”, “MIC Drop” and “DNA”, “Fake Love” is BTS’s fifth single to be awarded silver in Great Britain.
BTS also has Silver Certifications in the UK for their albums Love Yourself: Her, Love Yourself: Answer, Map of the Soul: Persona, Love Yourself: Tear, Map of the Soul: 7, “See yourself ”,“ The most beautiful moment in life: Forever young ”and“ You never go alone ”.
