BTS “Permission to Dance” has joined “Butter” in the official single charts!

On July 16, local time, the UK official charts announced that BTS 'new song "Permission to Dance" had debuted at number 16 on the official singles chart in the week of July 16-22.

According to the official charts, “Permission to Dance” was also the second most downloaded song of the week, only surpassed by Ed Sheeran's “Bad Habits”.

Meanwhile, BTS 'previous single "Butter" was in its eighth week at number 34 on the official singles chart, giving the group two simultaneous top 40 hits on the chart.

"Permission to Dance" is the fifth song by BTS to land in the top 20 of the official single charts, after "Boy With Luv", "Dynamite", "Life Goes On" and "Butter".

The Official Singles Chart lists the most popular songs in the UK, and the Official Charts are often viewed as the UK equivalent of Billboard's US charts.
